So you've learnt how to play the didgeridoo and you've mastered some of the different techniques, Or you just want a go at something different. Why not give a go at making your own Didgeridoo. note: This is not a "how to" on making an authentic Australian didgeridoo as these are made by Termites eating the inside and were based in the UK and there aren't many Termites to be found here in London.
Making your own didgeridoo is a great way, if your on a tight budget, wnat to make a personalised gift for someone. or even want to have some fun making something that could endup looking great and also functional, a great talking point at social gatherings.
All your going to need is a bit of imagination some wood and some basic tools. There isn't a right or wrong way of creating a Didgeridoo, its all about experimentation and exploration.
If you google "how to make a didgeridoo" there are a couple of other well regarded people out there offering very usefull guides, in fact it was these guides from other players that got me into making my own. (see our links page for some other good sites).
The plan here is to offer a portal of information on different techniques that can be used to make a successful didgeridoo, the information is all based on first hand experience.
